The tubeless ready, 21mm internal width of the CLX 32 is optimized for use with modern, wider tires, providing them with the right amount of sidewall support to facilitate surefooted handling in all conditions. At a depth of 32mm, after exhaustive wind tunnel testing, this superlight road rim offers lively climbing and all-round performance, but aerodynamically outperforms many deeper, aero-specific rims.
Refinement through design
In order to achieve our weight and durability goals for the CLX 32, we burned through a massive pile of prototypes. Over 40 different layups were developed, and a staggering 143 rim prototypes were built and tested before we reached the final design. The result is one of the lightest road wheelsets on the market, a climber’s dream wheel, but one that also happens to be tough enough and durable enough to serve as a cyclocross workhorse.
Faster, stronger hubs
The Aero Flange hubs found on each CLX 32 wheelset are the basis of fast, strong, light wheel. Aerodynamically optimized, with wide-bracing angles for increased strength and reduced spoke weight, they also feature ultra-smooth CeramicSpeed bearings and the refined precision of DT Swiss 240 freehub internals.

What you see below is a recommended starting point, a "ballpark." You'll also see a decal on your wheels indicating max pressure. Never exceed the max pressure. Enjoy your ride!
How we made it
We engineer and build our wheels as an integrated whole to deliver performance that can’t be achieved by designing a rim and then sourcing third party parts for the rest. Example? We layup the CLX 32 rims and drill spoke holes at precisely the angle the nipple will interface with the rim, ensuring reliability and the lightest weight possible.
